Kate and Ali’s Santorini wedding took place at El Viento Santorini, a stunning venue that sits cliffside of Megalochori village. This fairytale venue is perfect for an intimate wedding. With breathtaking views and magical sunsets, it is one of the most stunning places we have ever visited. 

Kate and Ali share a love that most people wish for; they are on the same wavelength, and their connection is so deep. Kate and Ali wanted a simple day with stunning details that would pop at the venue. One important thing to them was flowers; they knew they wanted an abundance of flowers at their ceremony and reception table. 

Kate’s wedding dress was really important to her, so we took photos of the gown alone on a mannequin overlooking the iconic views of Santorini. He gown was hand made in the Philippines, which held so much meaning to her and her family. We took pictures with her and her bridesmaids overlooking the same views and a few of Kate getting ready. We couldn’t leave this location! 

The Ceremony 

Kate’s mom and dad walked her down the aisle to Ali. The ceremony overlooked the water; the aisle was lined with greenery and white flowers. The views were stunning, but their love was the main character. Kate and Ali’s ceremony had traditional wedding practices from each of their religions; they also wrote and said their own vows to eachother. 

Post Ceremony

After the ceremony, Kate and Ali walked into the reception space with traditional Greek drums, surrounded by their family and friends dancing. Instead of a wedding cake, they had a macaron tower overlooking the water, making it even more stunning. Ali, his mom, Kate, and her dad shared their first dances, and then they shared their first dance. 

Since they had such an intimate wedding, everyone could sit at the same table, making it an excellent experience for everyone there. Speeches were said, dinner was eaten, and more dancing was to come! 

It was the perfect wedding day between the spectacular views, Kate and Ali’s love, and the happiness their guests brought.
